The Excessive Force Pack is a downloadable content for Prototype 2. This DLC became available on May 29, 2012 for $4.99 or 400 Microsoft Points. The DLC is now available for all platforms.
This pack consists of:
- Viral Infector Grenade Launcher: A grenade launcher that, when fired, turns humans around the target into zombies.
- Shockwave: A force multiplier which causes a shock-wave in a small area when the player performs a charged jump.
- Chaos Creator Mode: A force multiplier which turns the entire world into a zombie warzone.
- Medusa's Wrath: A force multiplier which grants the player "eyeball lasers" capable of killing humans instantly and leaving stronger enemies like Brawlers ready to consume. It can even cause a Goliath to go into a consume state without having to cut off its limbs.
- Armored Heller Skin: An armored skin for James Heller. It has no in-game effect (unlike the first game's armor ability) and is purely cosmetic.
- Agile Armor Alex Mercer Skin: A skin similar to Alex Mercer's armor from the first game. Like the Armored Heller Skin, it has no in-game effect and is purely cosmetic.
- Zombie Alex Mercer Skin: Similar to Heller's infected skin, turns all of Heller's dialogue into Zombie growls.
