Prototype: Prima Official Game Guide is the official strategy guide to Prototype, released on June 9, 2009. It is authorized by David Hodgson and published by Prima. The guide contains information for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 variants of the game.^[1]

A downloadable version of was released as an eGuide which was fully searchable with easy-to-use clickable navigation and also contained exclusive bonus artwork.^[2]
