R. Brandon Johnson (often credited as Brandon Johnson) is an American actor, TV host and voice actor. He currently co-stars as dance show host Gary Wilde on the Disney Channel original series Shake It Up!.

Biography

R. Brandon Johnson was born in Bloomington, Minnesota on the 14th of January 1968. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theatre.

• As well as being an accomplished drummer and percussionist and Johnson also plays for many alternative rock bands including: ILL Rocket, The Progress, Pelt, Touch Is Automatic, Yellow No. 5 and The Duncan Bleak Ensemble. According to Johnson it was his apprectiation for the talents of Sascha Dikiciyan that first attracted him to the Prototype series.
