Santos was supposedly one of the scientists left behind at an unknown bunker. Jones and Kaley claimed that Santos was infected during the experiments and ordered James Heller to shoot him. Upon closer investigation, Heller found that Santos was not infected and denied to shoot him as he was unarmed.
