Spiked Brawlers are large humanoid variants of Blacklight beings created after the second outbreak. They are an evolved form of the Brawler Hunters, distinguished by the spike growth on their back and with their prominent muscle mass.[1]
Appearance & Powers
Spiked Brawlers resemble mutated canines with reptilian features. They have many protruding spikes out on their backs, and luminescent red patterns that cover their hide. Their faces are also more pronounced than regular Hunters or Brawlers. Using their sheer strength, they are capable of vibrating the ground with powerful and continued shockwaves which, if not dodged or blocked in time, can cause large amount of damage.
They are overall more stronger than their regular counterparts, with in addition more health and faster speed.
Trivia
- They bite the heads off Infected when damaged to restore lost portions of health, similar to it's predecessors.
- When you cut off both of its arms and consume it without any powers activated, Heller will do the original consume animation Alex does to a Hunter in PROTOTYPE.
- Spiked Brawlers were formerly known as Brawler Hunters, and first seen in 2007-2008 builds of Prototype.
- It was later cut from the game and replaced with the Leader Hunters.
